Case study · StudyOracle
An AI study-material writer, grounded in your own sources.
StudyOracle turns dense source material into study-ready content. Students upload textbooks, lecture notes and research papers, and need answers they can trust against what is actually in the document.
The challenge
A general chatbot is not good enough to study from.
Students do not want a confident answer that might be wrong. They want help with their specific textbook, lecture notes and papers, and they need to trust that what comes back is actually in the source rather than invented. A general purpose chatbot fails exactly where it matters: it hallucinates, and a hallucinated study note is worse than none.
StudyOracle needed a writer that stays faithful to the uploaded material, every time, while still producing clear, well structured study content.
Our approach
A retrieval pipeline that stays on the page.
We built a retrieval augmented generation pipeline that ingests uploaded PDFs and keeps every generated study guide and answer tied to the source text, with citations back to where it came from.
What it does
- Ingests and indexes uploaded textbooks, notes and papers.
- Retrieves the relevant passages for each question.
- Generates study guides and answers grounded in those passages.
- Cites the source location so students can verify it.
The result is study material that reads clearly but never drifts away from what the document actually says.
The outcome
Upload, ask, and study from material you can trust.
Students bring their own sources, ask in plain language, and get study guides and answers that stay faithful to the original. The pipeline does the work that makes AI genuinely useful for learning: it keeps the model honest about what is on the page.
Help with your textbook, not a confident guess about it.
Building with AI?
We ship AI that holds up in production.
Retrieval, agents, evaluation. If you need AI that is grounded and dependable rather than a demo, let's talk.
